£3bn Fall in Loans and Overdrafts to British Companies, Bank of England Data

Revealed on Friday, the data by Bank of England has shown that as much as £3bn fall has occurred in the loans and overdrafts lent to the British companies.

The data has raised concerns over the Bank's Funding for Lending Scheme (FLS). Also, it emerged that the British companies were struggling since December last year in wake of the fall in lending and hike in the borrowing costs.

In a tweet sent out on Friday, Twitter platform director Ryan Sarver has revealed that he will be leaving the popular microblogging service on June 28; and that he has "no plans but rest."

Sarver - who joined Twitter in 2009 - said in his tweet: "After four incredible, indelible years at Twitter, the time has come for me to fly the coop. My last day will be June 28."

During his four-year stint at Twitter, Sarver has not only helped the Twitter ecosystem become more unified, but has also made it available across a number of platforms, including web, iOS, and Android.
