HP positioning ‘Slate 500’ as a business device

PC maker, Hewlett Packard is positioning its new tablet as a business device instead of pitching it as a competitor to the Apple iPad in consumer market.

Interestingly, the device was revealed at the 2010 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas by Microsoft chief executive Steve Ballme as it was running on full-blown version of Windows 7. HP had called it, the Consumer Notebook Slate.


Apple to stop offering Flash with Mac OS X

Technology giant, Apple announced on Friday that it will stop bundling Adobe's Flash media player with its Mac OS X.

The recently launched MacBook Air is the first system without flash and the comoany will launch more devices without the player as the company clears out Mac desktops and notebooks which had Flash.
