Crew of Three Astronauts Lands Safely from International Space Station to Earth’

The three-man crew which went to International Space Station for five-month mission returned safely on Tuesday. They are brought back to earth in a Russian Soyuz space capsule which landed safely on Tuesday at Central Asian steppes of Kazakhstan.

Russian Progress Cargo Vessel Docks Successfully in Space Station

It has been confirmed that a Russian Progress cargo vessel has managed to dock with the International Space Station on Wednesday. It was reported to be carrying over 2.5 tonnes of supplies for the multinational crew of the ISS including water, food, fuel, technical equipment in addition to presents for the astronauts. However, it's not yet clear if candy corn or miniature chocolate bars were also carried in order to celebrate Halloween season.

It was launched from the Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan at 0741 GMT, and reached at 1334 GMT with the ISS, confirms mission control.

The three-man multinational crew with NASA astronaut Mr. Donald Pettit, Russia's Mr. Oleg Kononenko and Dutchman Mr. Andre Kuipers completes its 193-day mission to the International Space Station.
