Enriched formula milk could make your baby obese
It was found by a British study that babies who were nourished with enriched bottle milk are more likely to be overweight by the age of five. The study proved that getting fat in infancy could put babies at threat from heart disease to diabetes in afterward life.
It found healthy babies who were given procedure milk enriched with protein; vitamins and other nutrients had 22 per cent to 38 per cent more body fat than those given food to standard bottle milk.
The researchers believed that they acquired in more calories and experienced weight gain at a decisive stage in growth.
Their previous research recommended that 20 per cent of adult heaviness might be the basis by over-nutrition or being excessive weight gain in childhood.
It was reported by the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition.
Mothers were once given advice to provide enriched milk to underfed babies if they were not breastfeeding. However they are now told not to 'fatten up' their babies unless they are impulsive.
