Victims of the horrible Concord jet crash, which took place 10 years back, were paid a tribute by the family members, who came together in a place near Paris.

A ceremony that took place on Sunday saw the offerings of flowers at a monument dedicated to the victims near the town where the plane met with an accident and finally crashed.

After taking off from Charles de Gaulle Airport, the plane crashed, smashing into a hotel in Gonesse, which is a suburban area in Paris.

A verdict still has to be offered by a French court in regards to who should be held responsible for the crash, which claimed lives of 109 people on board and four people on the ground.

In the year 2003, the Concorde was taken out of service and three decades prior, it had flown at a speed that was twice as fast the speed of sound.

Ex-proprietor of the Concorde, Air France, flew family members of the victims from Germany, since a lot victims belonged to Germany and also many of those who died were from various regions of the world.

Pierre Henri Gourgeon, who is the Chairman of Air France and ex-Chairman, Jean Cyril Spinetta also attended the honor ceremony.
