Klasnic Cancels Contract with Nantes, Says Has Other Options

Sky Sports have reported that Ivan Klasnic has called off his contract with the French side Nantes. And it appears that it might not be easy for Bolton Wanderers to rope in the star, as the ace footballer has declared that he has a variety of options in his kitty.

On Monday, Reebok Stadium Manager, Owen Coyle told Sky Sports News that seeing the player's loan stay last season, he desires to fasten a permanent contract with him. Owen joined Bolton in January. He is hopeful to employ Klasnic and get him to England, especially after news that he has annulled his agreement with French Ligue 2 club Nantes.

Meanwhile, the 30-year-old striker is no hurry to join a club soon. He said that he is hopeful that he will get another club, and therefore, is not under any kind of stress.

At present, Ivan is training in Germany. He told French media, "I believed that for both me and Nantes it was the best solution to cancel the contract. I could not see myself playing in Ligue 2, and Nantes didn't have the right resources".

The Croatian soccer player's salary is around £60,000 a week.
