The multi-tasking offered by the Apple's iPhone 4 amuses many, but at the same time there are some, who get into a perplexed situation due to the same.

The iPhone 4 offers to access to third-party applications in the background and thus, keeping the iOS at a par with other mobile operating systems such as Android and Windows Mobile. This allows the use of Skype and Fring. The required applications can be added anytime when needed from Apple's App Store.

The phone puts one into a state of confusion, as it becomes difficult to understand what the background exhibits (usually sat-nav apps runs in the background) and what lies in the RAM. The battery exhausts quickly, as well. The phone can combine processor and RAM, too.

Apple needs to revive the friendliness of the iPhones by keeping a check on which applications do the background showcases. But, the built -in task-manager in the phone facilitates the users to see what applications are running.

Another flaw is that if there is some hovering application, the phone can exterminate the same in order to free the space in RAM.

The multi-tasking can be eased by equipping phone with iStat system that has the ability to run the desired application at one time and shutting the others at the same time. It helps saving battery and memory both.
