The French police came across a strange case of robbery on Thursday, as they said that a man, who was using an ATM machine in central Paris, was approached by two teenage girls, who were trying to distract him by waving a newspaper on his face.

The girls were doing the same to get money from him. Reports claim that when the man denied giving money, one of the girls took off her shirt and grabbed his genitals, while the other girl took out 300 Euros from the machine and fled.

Police has arrested both the teens and the Paris prosecutor has said that since the girls are under 18, they will be charged as juveniles.

The police authorities are also suspecting that the girls are linked to the two similar robberies, which took place on Aug. 17, in which they are believed to have robbed 400 Euros and at that time they were accompanied by a 12 year old.

These cases have shown that people should remain alert, especially when they come to an unfamiliar place.

Another method to trick people at ATMs is that the bystander carefully watches while one types the secret pin code, which is later on used by them to steal the money.

Sometimes, thieves wait for banks to get closed and then tamper with the ATM machines, so that your card gets stuck, when you enter your code.
