BYD planning to come up with E6 electric car in US

BYD Co Ltd has informed that it is planning to start shipping its E6 electric car to the United States by the end of the year. The company has already planned its strategies to compete with it contemporary rivals like Nissan and General Motors.

Nissan is coming with its Leaf and General Motor's is launching its Volt in this electric vehicle segment in near future. The company has said that it is interested to establish regional sales offices in North America and Western Europe to get a hold of this market.

BYD Co Ltd is considered to a leading player in automobile industry in China. U. S. billionaire Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway holds stake in this Chinese cam manufacturer. BYD also manufactures and sell its batteries and handset components.

Currently the firm has diversified its business into the grid storage and solar battery businesses. However, car manufacturing is still the main priority business of the company and it is looking forward to enhance its stand in US and UK market.
