Like.com will work for Google

Google, the emperor of internet world purchased visual search engine Like. com for an unrevealed amount. A member from board of directors of Google declared that San Mateo-based Six-year-old Like. com is a visual shopping site which provides fashion conscious accessories and electronic accessories.

CEO and founder of Like. com Munjal Shah said while declaring the deal matters to the media that the team of Like. com is very happy by joining Google which will be a way to super-size their dream and supercharge their excitement.

But he did not disclose the amount of deal to the media. As per a Tech Crunch which is a technology blog announced in its website that the value of Like. com is USD 100 million. Mr. Shah also added that his company is first to bring visual search to shopping and they are also in top position in building an automated cross-matching system.

In 2010 Google purchased 20 companies including Metaweb Technologies and ITA Software. Like. com is a fast-growing company in terms of both revenue and traffic and the company is having a success track record by working with companies like Oracle, AOL, Real Networks and Nextag.
