Zara has launched online retail store

The Spanish firm Zara has launched its online retail stores in the UK, Spain, France, Portugal and Italy. The clothing retailer Zara sells its products online but now it has announced that its website will offer the fashion products which were only available in the store only until now.

The firm has taken this step after seeing heavy fall in the sales of the High Street stores.

The consumer confidence is falling down and creating fears of further economic slowdown in the UK. Zara’s rival company Next has seen a fall of 1.5 % in the first half of this year.

Meanwhile the home shopping business of the company rose up by 7.8 % in that period of time. The internet trading giant Asos has reported a 54% of rise in its sales in the first quarter of this year compared to the same quarter of last year.

As per a survey, the online marketing is growing sharply as everyone has a high speed internet connection now and people do not want to spend time by hanging around a large shopping mall.
