ATS solar group in France might slash 95 jobs

atsOn Thursday, Canada's ATS Automation Tooling Systems Inc. (ATA. TO) expressed that approximately 95 jobs at its French solar component, Photowatt International, might be slashed in a reorganization arrangement.

ATS creates factory automation parts and solar energy equipment. The company expressed that inferior feed-in tax for solar power in Germany and France has injured the selling costs. Low-cost producers in Asia are anticipated to more squashing costs.

The job hack grades the most recent proposal to perk up competence and diminish costs at the unit that has approximately 525 staff, as per ATS Vice-President Carl Galloway. The process designs solar wafers, cells and panels.
