A huge numbers of gay and bisexuals were detected with HIV in New Zealand previous year. The AIDS Epidemiology Group at the University of Otago has discovered that 90 fresh contamination of the virus which can lead to AIDS in gay and bisexual men in the year 2010.

That is the deviation of small rates of new contamination in heterosexuals, who reported for just 35 in numbers from the 149 HIV diagnosis completed by antibody examination. One baby born in the year 2006 was tested with HIV given by their mother in the year 2010. After that, 39 people were tested with AIDS. 25 people were men contaminated during intercourse with other men, 11 was due to heterosexual intercourse, one was during infusing drugs, and other two, the medium of contamination was unidentified.

New Zealand Aids organization director Shaun Robinson has stated that the figures illustrated the HIV outbreak had never been shoddier for New Zealand's gay population. Mr Robinson has also added that 15 of the 23 person for whom the reason of HIV contamination was still unidentified were possibly to be bisexual or gay person.
