Dr. Dean Rescued Windsor Hospital after Brawl between Cardiologists
The Hotel-Dieu Grace Hospital is about to recover from a significant decline in cardiac treatments. As per reports, a serious issue was brewing between Dr. Rajen Chetty, a longtime Windsor cardiologist and past president of the Essex County Medical Society, and a interventional cardiologists resulted in patients being referred to London and Detroit instead of being treated at Hotel-Dieu.
The resulted feud in the hospital confirmed the oust of Dr. Chetty who will continue his medical practices in Windsor.
The issue didn’t cool off which resulted in unharmonious relation between the co-workers. In the wake of internal disturbances, the province appointed Dr. Ken Deane as in charge of Hotel-Dieu.
As per close sources, Dr. Deane implemented stringent policies to keep a check between various departments of the hospital and subsequently, assured smooth operation in the cardiology department.
Meanwhile, Hotel-Dieu is planning to rope in a new cardiologist and a second specialist to strengthen the workforce. If latest statistics are to be believed, around 630 PCIs have been performed at Hotel-Dieu this fiscal year in comparison to the projected figure of 550.
With positive news coming from all the corners of the hospital, it seems that the black chapter of Dr. Chetty is wiped out from the mind of employees.
