An Unknown Female Steals Harp, Jewellery from a Cancer Patient

An unknown female has stolen the full-sized, heirloom harp of a 70-year-old woman, Ann Lidstone who is undergoing cancer treatment. The harp has been used in concerts across the world.

North Vancouver RCMP is asking for public's help in locating the stolen harp. The RCMP has also issued warrants against the unknown women. The female introduced herself to the victim on a bus two weeks ago and talked to Lidstone. She was a young woman in her early 20s.

She walked with Lidstone to her home and picked her jewelry and ancient jewelry of her father and hid it. She preyed on the victim for many days and took money from her bank account, saying that she needs it urgently.

The female also said that she needed to borrow Lidstone's harp to use as security for rent. Ms. Lidstone finally agreed to give her the harp, the woman's boyfriend was at the door to help her in taking is away.

RCMP Cpl., Peter DeVries said that the unique instrument would easily catch attention when the female will go to sell it on pawnshops or music stores.
