Five people decided to go out for an adventure to Waiparous area which is located around 75km northwest of Calgary but they could sense a big trouble coming when their vehicle got stuck in a secluded area.

Though the group made some efforts to free themselves, all the efforts proved to be unsuccessful. Finally, they had to send two members from their group to look for some help on Monday.

The efforts of getting out or finding some help faced some serious hurdle when two members of the group felt sick and it was reported that the pair had pre-existing medical issues.

Despite of this, two people went out in search of help and fortunately they found another group of campers with a cell phone reception.

Authorities were out of clue about the kind of vehicle those people were using but they had some information about some motorists getting stuck in deep terrain.

It took several hours of a strenuous rescue operation to reach to the stranded group who had been stuck there for more than a day in a remote backcountry northwest of Cochrane.

Alberta Health Services EMS Spokesman Adam Loria said, “An adult male and female were transported to a Calgary hospital. They were transported in stable non-life threatening condition, again from just some pre-existing medical conditions and issues that arose. It was quite the event, but everyone got out ok”.
