South Africa Has Improved AIDS Policies

It was revealed by the former Anglican Archbishop of Cape Town, Desmond Tutu that the country had changed its policies for the fight against AIDS and they don’t need to be ashamed of their existing policies. He said that the country was embarrassed for many years for the sort of policies they followed for the purpose of fighting the disease. He was thankful to the Health Minister, Aaron Motsoaledi for the changes he made in the existing policy for the protection of people from this disease.

There have been substantial changes made in the policies for the fight against AIDS and this has made the man thank them for their efforts. It was in the year 2009 that the President of the country, Jacob Zuma raised his voice in this regard and said that there should be stricter guidelines for the purpose of eradicating AIDS from their nation.

The Health Minister has led this campaign throughout and has been able to mark significant changes in the current scenario of the nation’s health setting. "We are definitely joining hands with the rest of the world in the fight against HIV/AIDS. I think we will win," said Motsoaledi.

These new policies are surely going to help in making the nation a healthier and AIDS free one. It shall surely help in making benchmarks for the people who will now follow them and make sure they steer clear from unhealthy and irresponsible behavior and subsequently the AIDS cases of the nation will decrease.
