Marc Emery, a Marijuana protester, is suffering from a superbug illness (MRSA). He came in contact with the disease, after a boil above his buttock proved that there was an infection. Moreover, the Mississippi prison authorities have already given many antibiotics to treat the infection.

The U. S. Centers for Disease Control website claims that recently, MRSA has become an extensive dilemma in the prisons and hospitals.

Earlier, he was getting a private facility in Georgia but then he got shifted to Mississippi and he also filed a request that he should be moved to Canadian prison but it got rejected.

His wife, Jodie Emery, also claimed that due to post- surgical problems, one of the Emery’s former cellmates died because after the surgery, MRSA created serious problems, which further lead in causing several infections to the open wounds.

She added, "I was very worried when I got the news, I also cried because it every day scares me, especially when you think about how quickly things can go wrong".

Although for selling marijuana seeds in Vancouver, Canadian police arrested him, many people around the world sent him thousands of support letters saying that Marc Emery saved their lives because in 1996, when the medical marijuana became legal in California, he gave a number of seeds to the needy people.
