Motorola Droid Bionic offers fast Internet access with striking features

Motorola’s Droid Bionic smartphone, which was first unveiled in January, is available exclusively through US carrier Verizon Wireless for $299.99 on a two-year contract.

The Motorola Droid Bionic comes with 4G LTE connectivity, and offers lightening-fast Internet access. Moreover, it can be connected to HD TV sets in 1080p, and while the use of Webtop Application transforms it into a laptop.

Lightening-fast Internet access makes the device a perfect choice for fans of streaming videos services like Netflix and YouTube.

The smartphone runs on Google’s Android Gingerbread 2.3.4, and features a 4.3-inch PenTile LCD screen that offers a resolution of 960 by 540 pixels, a dual-core 1GHz TI OMAP4430 processor, 1 gigabyte of RAM, an 8-megapixel camera at the rear, and a VGA camera at the front.

It’s 1735mAh battery about 12-14 hours of solid use or around 3 hours of continuous LTE streaming.

Compared with many rival handsets in the range of $300, the Motorola Droid Bionic stands out in look, feel, and solidness of construction.
