It has been reported that the cancer cyclist rid which was started on 7th of September will be stopping by Sears store in Barrie, today. The Sears National Kids Cancer Ride was initiated with the aim of raising funds for children suffering from cancer.
The ride is said to end on 22nd of September. The cyclists are hoping to travel about 7,000 kilometers by the last day of the ride. The cyclist will be welcomed by Barrie Mayor Jeff Lehman, Manager of Sears National Kids Cancer Ride Terri Yocom and Hunter and Adam ambassador for childhood cancer.
There are millions of children all over the world who are fighting against heinous disease cancer. Every year these children are supported by charities and organizations. Although the government does provide them the facility of carers, there is more to be done to help them fight against cancer.
Children are the symbol of a country’s future. Therefore, in order to preserve the future or to make the future stronger, it is necessary to protect and to guard the life of millions of the children suffering from cancer.
The cyclists who have taken part in the Sears National Kids Cancer Ride are doing a humble task of supporting children. The money raised by them will be directed towards cancer research.
