Prostate Cancer Awareness Drive on the Rise

It’s the prostate cancer awareness drive which is motivating many men around the world to sport moustaches for their support. They are supporting the drive for spreading awareness about the disease, the ways of prevention, as well as fundraising for research and development of cures for the same.

Mr. Kevin Warburton, from the Home Instead Senior Care Centre has given others the liberty to decide what sort of moustache he will sport during this awareness month.

The November Charity is the time to make all men aware of the sort of dangers prostate cancer can put them through. There is need for them to understand what a complex disease it is and how it can prove to be potentially dangerous is cure is not done at the right time. Unnecessary screening in prostate cancer might prove to be harmful for the man, rather than do any good. This is why it is essential to take good care of health and go for screenings only when there is need for it.

“Cancer charities are close to my heart because I lost a close friend aged 54 to prostate cancer. So when this came up I thought it would be a great way to raise some funds”, said Kevin.

With a lot of emphasis being laid on different types of the killer disease, it’s now time for to bring prostate cancer under light. Men need to understand that this is the type of cancer, they are most vulnerable to, and they need to put up a brave fight against it. Men need to take a stand and bring as many friends and family members to be aware of the disease, and do their best to fight the same. This new drive against the disease is commonly called the Movember drive.
