Lauren Scruggs is a popular name in modeling industry. The 23-year-old fashion blogger met with an accident when she collided with an airplane propeller last Saturday. The propeller sliced her face and shoulder so badly that it cut off her left hand.

Immediately after the accident, the model was admitted in ICU and was under observation. Thankfully, she is now out of the intensive care but, her parents told that her beautiful face has been badly hurt and is covered with bandages and stitches.

Explaining the first moments when Lauren saw her face in the mirror, Lauren's father Mr. Jeff Scruggs said that, “She looked at herself for the first time today in a mirror. That was big. She looked and said, 'It's not that bad.' So that was really encouraging. Lauren is a little fighter”.

Lauren Scruggs, after the accident, is being treated at the Dallas Hospital. She took her first walk after the accident on Wednesday when she came down the hall of the hospital and according to her relatives; Scruggs was counting her steps during the walk and was speaking the number 30, the whole time.

Lauren's mother Mrs. Cheryl Scruggs happily said that her family is glad to see Lauren alive and back among them. But, she disappointedly explained about all the pain that Lauren was in and the damages that the doctors have highlighted that Lauren may suffer from. Doctors have explained that Lauren may lose her left eye and also they aren't sure enough how much damage has been caused to her brain after the incident.

But, Lauren is still smiling with a hope on her face.
