Nurses Charged Over Professional Misconduct

Nurses Charged Over Professional Misconduct

It has been recently been revealed that two nurses are going to face a hearing for their misconduct that led to the death of a patient.

The name of the nurse is Faye Wilson, and she is accused of wrongly telling the relatives of a man that he isn’t well, when he had actually already died. The name of the other accused is Ma Jenny Quinto, had failed to monitor where the patient had died.

The nurses are accused of misconduct that led to the death of a person, the name of the person isn’t revealed though. The pair is now going to face a judicial hearing before the Nursing and Midwifery Council and they are going to have to answer why the patient hadn’t been taken proper care of, and why was the truth not told to the family.

It was also revealed that the nurses were very unprofessional in their approach towards the entire incident, and were even found arguing with each other in front of the patients and their attendants. There is need to ask the accused for proper answers for their actions. There is need to determine why they were behaving so irresponsibly, and whether the patient had also died due to their negligence.

Ms. Wilson has told a girl that her father, who lived in the care home, wasn’t looking well when she had known, or had at least thought that he was dead. This was simply a way to put off further formalities for a while, and take the burden off for a while.

There is need for a proper investigation to find out the truth about these cases and make sure they don’t happen again.
