Iowans Angry Over Gasoline Price Rise

It has been recently revealed that people living in Iowa, a state located in Midwestern United States, are quite angry over the rise in gasoline prices. They are of the view that already they have been suffering from inflation and top of this, they have to witness rising cost of gasoline.

Iowans said that it makes them wonder that on what basis retailers decide the price of gasoline. Shelly Smith, who lives in Des Moines, was of the view that price of gasoline gets increased after short duration of time.

Smith further affirmed that prices of gasoline remain same in Des Moines, but the price is likely to change with the change in the town. But they can do nothing, as it is integral part of their commuting. Experts agreed with Smith and said that price of gasoline in all stations across Des Moines is $3.65 a gallon. However, prices differ in Dubuque and Sioux City.

Gasoline retailers said that it is quite common that prices will differ across the state and there is nothing called unlawful in it. They further affirmed that it is not that such variation in price occurs only in Iowa and it takes place in every part of the country.
