Jobless Claims Rising in Spain

A report recently published in The Wall Street Journal has uncovered that jobless claims in Spain have risen up to a notable figure as compared to the figure released in the month of February, as per the European Union's Eurostat agency.

It has been revealed that the figure i. e. 38,769, which is nearly 9.63% rise over the figure that was noted last year during the same period. The data has also unveiled that the number of unemployed people are equivalent to somewhat more than 4.75 million this year.

As per the findings of the report, the same is the result of increased unemployment rate in Spain. It is being said that Spain has shed more number of jobs last month as compared to the number that was seen in February.

Noticing the same, it is being expected that the figure would increase more by 1.7% approximately. Also, it has been found that while the central government fears that cut in budget could limit the growth, it has been thriving in the same way so as to balance the economy without causing any impairment.
