Recent news claimed that the Olympic symbolic special set British Airways planes have been introduced. The planes dubbed Dove are going to be painted white with gold strokes which will be representing the feathers. The exteriors of the plane have been designed by the artist-designer, Pascal Anson native of Brighton.

The plane is compared that with a dove, its cockpit will be used as Dove’s beak, the aircraft’s main body as the dove’s body and the wings and tailfin of the aircraft, as the wings and tail of the bird.

It has been unveiled that it is the Airbus A319 that has been designed in a way to look like dove, the symbol of peace. According to the sources, the plane is one of its kinds but at the same time, it is self-expressive. Anyone observing the plane can guess it’s a dove.

Apart from this project, two other projects have been introduced which are inspired from Olympics.

The newly created menu for BA long-haul flights are an impression of the menus that were served in the 1948’s Olympic Games. These have been created by Chef Heston Blumenthal and Chef Simon Hulstone.

In addition, the flights will be showing a short film Boy, story of carpenter and his zeal for cycling.
