Closure of Tesco’s Second-hand Car Sale

Since the launch of its new cars, Tesco has finally brought an end to its selling business of second-hand cars online. Prior to this, the company was dealing with used cars. It was selling them to individuals looking for good conditioned well-maintained second-hand cars. With a 25% stake in this venture of used cars sale, Tesco is no more active now.

It is the chief executive of the company, Philip Clarke, who has decided to close this move so that it could concentrate in a much better way on its core business. Along with this, another venture of Tesco Home Services has also been shut down. This venture was into the business of offering handyman services to people.

As announced by Mr. Clarke, he has not yet revealed his strategy of turning round Tesco’s UK Business in another two weeks time. According to people who are close to the venture and situation, there is no doubt in saying that Tesco has a reputed image in the market and therefore it always get good response from the customers but then at the same time in order to have a safe and secure supply of cars every time, it had to struggle a lot.
