It has been revealed through a recent report that famous car brands Jaguar and Land Rover have rolled out a convertible each at the New York Auto Show.
According to the findings of the report, Jaguar Global, which is a maker of luxury sedans and sports cars, has introduced a convertible version of the Range Rover Evoque crossover. The company has told that the car the concept is entirely new and shares an all-wheel drive system with the standard Evoque three-door.
Further, Land Rover launched Defender, which is beyond previously introduced convertibles made by the firm. The car is available with a folding top, which makes it to be called ‘sexy’, as per the Design Director Gerry McGovern. As per the report, it is for the first time that a shopping mall-style crossover is being seen without a roof.
Besides the launch of the two, Jaguar’s Director Adrian Hallmark also revealed that they would soon be developing a new sports car dubbed the F-Type. It has been told that the car would be manufactured at Jaguar’s Castle Bromwich factory in Britain using an aluminum monocoque. It would be a two-seater resembling the C-X16 concept, stated the director.
