Wards Closed At Hospital after Disease Outbreak

It has been recently revealed in a report that a hospital ward at the Royal Alexandria Hospital has been closed down after there was an infliction of the vomiting bug seen here. It has so far affected patents ere and has even been the case of death for four patients. The vomiting bug as well as diarrhea has recently affected many people and this is the reason the 8 wards of the hospital are shut down so that the infection doesn’t spread further in the time to come

"Typically it has a sudden onset and can spread quickly, and therefore we would urge relatives and any visitors who have experienced any symptoms of diarrhea or vomiting within the last 48 hours not to visit the hospital”, said NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde consultant microbiologist Dr Teresa Inkster

It remains to be seen how this infection is controlled the time to come, and how the other patients at the hospital can be saved from the possible infection to the disease in the near future.
