Bigfoot is a very large, hairy, humanoid creature from North American folklore reputed to inhabit wilderness areas of the U. S. and Canada. There has been a far long hunt going on to find the elusive mythical Bigfoot and Yeti. People have gone on various expeditions to prove the existence of such creature.
Now a University backed project has taken it upon itself to investigate cryptic species such as the yeti whose existence is unproven, through genetic testing. The Oxford University has joined hands with the Lausanne Museum of Zoology to find some insights into genetics of these creatures to prove their existence. They are seeking anyone with a collection of cryptozoological material like hair and other samples for genetic identification.
Geneticist Bryan Sykes of the University of Oxford who would be leading this study challenged all the cryptozoologists who have been lobbying behind the existence of Bigfoot and Yeti stating that they should come up with the evidence instead of complaining that science is rejecting what they have to say. Although he does not believe in the existence of either Yeti or Bigfoot, he is keeping an open mind and is hopeful to identify perhaps 20 of the suspect samples.
As per a new release, Physicists in Switzerland claim to have created the smallest of drops of liquid. The scientists believe that the droplets would be able to lead to the further understanding of collective behavior. The short-lived droplet is equivalent to 100,000th the size of a hydrogen atom and about the size of three to five protons....
