Obese Women Believed As Less Charming

As per a recent report, it is being said by a team of researchers that women who were formerly obese are considered by most as less attractive than women who were normal always.

A review was conducted in which men and young women were asked to study about women who had lost some 70 pounds or more as well as those who were always the same.

Also, participants were told to study such women also who were currently obese or currently thin. Following the same, they were made to tell about some features and attributes of women in their notice. The interview also included questionnaire about their attractiveness.

It was noted by the team that people tended to view obese people as not worth praise even after they had become weight-stable. Also, the attitudes were noticed to be more negative when it was told that weight can be easily controlled.

"Those who had been obese in the past were perceived as less attractive than those who had always been thin, despite having identical height and weight", concluded Janet Latner, lead author.
