German Company Breaks Down Record of Broadband Download Speed

As per recent reports, it has been revealed that a German company has claimed that it has technology to increase speed of broadband download up to 4700 Mbps. It has been reported that the speed was managed when the company, Kabel Deutschland’s real world field test was being carried out. The company has been termed to be Germany’s largest cable operator.

It has been stated that the recorded speed has broke the previous record set of 40 Gigabits per second by a 75 year old Swedish woman.

KD said, “Its current network in the city of Schwerin delivers a more standard speed of up to 100Mbps for home subscribers, yet clearly they could go a lot faster”.

Lorenz Glatz, CTO of Kabel Deutschland asserted that the Schwerin field test depicts that a 862 MHz upgraded cable network can help increase speed of broadband downloads up to 4.7 Gbit/s.

Detailing the fact, it was related that a DVD could be downloaded with this speed within eight seconds. Rather, it was subjected that currently used laptops and modems cannot even process such speeds.

It has been revealed that it will take some years to develop such technology that can help users to download such a speed.
