A shocking revelation claimed that fumes of diesel engine can actually instigate cancer risk. It has been found equally serious as asbestos, arsenic and mustard gas, thereby sending warning signals in the society that there is a lot to worry about for one and all in the time to come.

It was claimed by International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), which is part of the WHO, that there are fair chances of diesel exhaust to cause lung cancer. Diesel exhaust is reported to have been categorized into group 1 of substances which have strong connection with cancer.

Moreover, it has been made clear that there is enough concrete evidence available which can prove that diesel exhaust can make things a lot more serious for countries around the world. “Given the additional health impacts from diesel particulates, exposure to this mixture of chemicals should be reduced worldwide”, said Christopher Portier, chairman of the IARC working group, while asserting that the decision was agreed by one and all after comprehensive proof on the carcinogenic potential of diesel and gasoline exhausts can deeply researched.
