Parents of children with a condition called autism have shown outrage after it was declared by the federal government that such children can no longer take admissions or attend specialist schools, a report has unfolded recently.
Yearly 6 tests were conducted to test their language skills, which have revealed that these are too high amongst autistic students. It is therefore that they are now being asked to get admissions in a mainstream school.
However, parents have strictly criticized the same saying that mainstream schools make them to face discrimination and harassment by other children.
Janeane Baker, the father of William, an autism sufferer, has told that only because his child passed a test of language, he was declared as ineligible for staying at Northern School, a specialist one. ''It doesn't matter that his highly qualified teachers have never thought he would be able to be integrated. He can speak; therefore the government obviously thinks he is cured”, he said.
It has been found that the fury has reached such an extent that parents have been threatening to take strict actions. As per the findings, some parents say that they would take the matter to the media, while others warn they would exaggerate the disease proving it to be a Severe Behaviour Disorder.
