A Blooming Great Tea Party Campaign has been going on in Kendal town, a recent report has revealed, which aims to fight for a noble cause.
It has been found that tea parties are being held by almost everyone each day in all areas of Cumbria as a part of the campaign.
The same is being done to encourage more and more people to do the same as well as to donate more and more for cancer patients, which is the main aim behind the event.
The campaign is a move by the Marie Curie Cancer Care charity, which not only supports cancer sufferers, but also their families. Additionally, it invests some part of the collected money for researchers to carry out advanced research into the illness that kills a major population.
As per the charity, it is the best and simplest way to raise money as it only involves gatherings of friends and family with lots of fun in it.
Charity's Bamford Elaine said, "The money raised by simply popping the kettle on will help more Marie Curie Nurses to provide free care to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes".
The events are to continue until July, says the report.
