Single Dose of New Anti-nicotine Vaccine and Smoking Addiction Solved

If researchers are to be believed then soon we can find a new medicine formula to help free affected ones from the nicotine addiction.

The findings have come from a recent experiment performed over mice, in which experts introduced a single dose of the new anti-nicotine vaccine to the mice and noticed that the dose protected his body against the dangerous addiction for life.

This new development can help scientists successfully take the pleasure out of smoking a cigarette. Though some more tests are being performed prior starting human trials, medicine industry is soon expecting one big and good news.

Professor Ronald Crystal of Weill Cornell Medical College in New York while revealing the positivity of the early signs said, "We are very hopeful that this kind of vaccine strategy can finally help the millions of smokers who have tried to stop, but find their nicotine addiction to be strong enough to overcome these current approaches”.

According to the experts, the new vaccine has been prepared with a harmless virus that has been infused with properties of carrying genetic information to make anti-nicotine antibodies. These antibodies infect the liver cells and further push them to make a stream of the antibodies to lower the level of nicotine molecules in the bloodstream and neutralizing their effect prior reaching the brain. This control further helps in preventing a smoker from getting a nicotine hit.
