Monsoon can Push Aerosols of Volcano High into the Atmosphere, reveals Study

Monsoons are the best time to cool down the heat that earth experiences due to high temperatures. At the same time, in a recent study conducted by an international team of University of Saskatchewan researchers, it has been revealed that even those tiny volcanic eruptions that enter the atmosphere due to weather conditions like monsoons tend to cool the climate.

These tiny eruptions are known as aerosols. These are basically minute droplets of sulphuric acid that can be thrown high into the atmosphere due to climatic systems such as monsoons.

It has been also confirmed by Adam Bourassa, who is with the university's Institute of Space and Atmospheric Studies, that until now it was thought, to inject aerosol across the troposphere layer or stratosphere layer higher up; a massive eruption is required. Troposphere is the unstable atmosphere layer that lies in the close vicinity of Earth whereas stratosphere includes those stable layers.

But with the evolution of this study, a totally new concept has got introduced. Instead of that high energy required by volcano to put its aerosol and gas directly into the stratosphere so that a climatic change could be brought into; a low altitude as long as it's say next to the Asian summer monsoon can also bring effective results.
