The Director of NYC FootCare, Oliver Zong informed that people are getting embarrassed about wearing sandals because their foot doesn’t look beautiful. A toe slimming surgery can cost a person from $500 to $3000.

However, orthopedics are concerned that the process of toe slimming can put adverse impact over the health of the patient. Dr. Hillary Brenner from American Podiatric Medical Association said, “You're undergoing risks -- there's the risk of anesthesia, infection, deformity of the toe if the surgery is not done right, a risk of reoccurrence and the risk of surgery in general”. It is advisable that people seeking slimming surgery should consult their doctors to know the risk factors involved in the surgery.
