ECOmove Plans To Develop 500 Mile Range Electric Car

In a recent report, it has been confirmed that Danish electric car maker ECOmove is planning to make a 500 mile range electric car. This new car is believed to be inspired from the company's QBEAK electric city car, which has already made its place in the market. It is believed to have an impressive 180 mile electric driving range.

It has further been confirmed that the Modular Energy Carrier concept (MECC) is a collaboration of ECOmove, Insero E-Mobility and Serenergy, through which they will develop an electric car. Furthermore, it has been claimed that the QBEAK has been developed by ECOmove in Denmark. It is reported to have a modular battery pack system, which would allow one to six modules to power the vehicle. With each of the modules having a 4.7 kilowatt-hours of electricity, the car would get a maximum energy capacity of around 27 kilowatt-hours.

It has further been told that QBEAK is a small car having a sitting capacity of some six people, and even maintains a flexible interior, which can be used for a number of uses. There are fair chances of QBEAK to get into production by the end of 2012.
