Earle Sets Out For Her Last Mission to Aquarius

Recent reports have revealed that ocean explorer Sylvia Earle has set out for her week long mission to undersea research lab. It has been reported that Earle rolled beneath waters of Florida Keys wearing Rolex Dive watch on both the wrists.

It was long back in 1970, when Earle was presented a gold watch by Rolex before she went to accomplish her first mission beneath the seawaters to a lab off the U. S. Virgin Islands, with a team of women ‘aquanauts’. During those days, carrying out an underwater exploration that too for a long duration was considered far too unique.

Last week when Earle arrived in Key Largo, she was given a larger black dive watch. It is being expected that this would be the last mission for Earle and also marine microbiologists at the Aquarius Reef Base, keeping a continuous look at coral reef.

It has been recovered that the mission, which would be finishing off by this Saturday would be the last for the lab, which is run by public funds. Obama’s management has declared that it will be no more funding the Aquarius' $3 million annual funding."At the very time the ocean needs all the help it can get, it really is a travesty", said Earle.
