Fast food lovers, it’s better to eat Asian fast foods like noodles or dumplings than the Western items like burgers and fries, suggest the findings of the new international study.
Globalization has reached fast food items of a single country and region to different countries, people and menu cards. With this advancement U. S. style fast food has also spread like any rumor to East and Southeast Asia and their countries.
But experts are suggesting with their new findings that U. S. style fast foods contain higher risks of affecting people with diabetes and other heart diseases.
An international study was run by a team of researchers over 60,000+ Singaporeans of Chinese descent. The findings of the study have been published in the journal Circulation and say that the clean-living Singaporeans, who prefer burgers, fries and other staples of U. S.-style fast food are at higher risks of suffering from diabetes or die of heart diseases than the ones, who eat more of Asian fast foods like noodles or dumplings because they have reflected no signs of bearing such risks.
"Many cultures welcome (Western fast food) because it's a sign they're developing their economics", said Mr. Andrew Odegaard, from the University Of Minnesota School Of Public Health, who led the study.
