Sacramento International has been listed on 27th position by Massachusetts Institute of Technology researchers amidst total 40 worst airports responsible for spreading varied illnesses, a recent report has found.

A study was conducted by the team, which was focused to look at the impact of air travel on worsening of the spread of any kind of illness, including SARS or H1N1. It was then found that even safe plans to curb the same were tending to have dangerous influences on the outbreaks.

However, as per the researchers, an examination of passenger cell phones did not imply the same. But, varied other factors such as connections or facility location were having adverse effects on an already realized spread. Even the way of fitting of an airport into an air travel network was being a problem by enhancing the disease spread.

Where JFK airport in New York has been placed at first place in the same regards, LAX is at the second, followed by Honolulu, which has been found at the third highest position. The team has thus been claiming that the busiest places with the largest crowds are the major reasons behind any illness’s outbreak.

It has told that seeing the same, the current treatment plans are also only particularly being focused at these places.
