When one visits the gallery of Google then you will come across 6,000 panoramic images of Kennedy Space Center, which is said to be largest collection till date. It has been recently revealed that Google Maps has tied up with Street View.
Their collaboration has resulted into the collection of photo gallery of massive pictures of historic KSC landmarks. It would not be wrong to say that the Google Maps is now able to navigate ways for people from their neighborhoods to Kennedy Space Center.
If to reveal some of the pictures that are included in the album then there are the Vehicle Assembly Building, Launch Control Center firing rooms, the Space Station Processing Facility and Space Shuttle Main Engine place, among others.
One can view the pictures by navigating their way through Google Maps and further searching the pictures of the centre, which can be viewed in 360-degree. It has been revealed that the project was being launched at the 50th anniversary of Kennedy Space Center, which is the independent centre of NASA.
Ryan Falor from Google was of the view, “You’re going to be close to where history has been made and will be made in the future with new programs currently under development for space exploration”.
