A few days earlier, a Russian entrepreneur declared that he will be honoring nine physicists around the globe for their excellence piece of work. He was to award a total of $27 million to the scientists, which meant $3 million to each. The awards were made public this July 31 as a part of new Fundamental Physics Prize.

These awards were proposed to be largest prize amount ever given to a scientist; it was more than amount awarded by Nobel Prize. The 50-year-old industrialist, Yuri Milner surely transformed the lives of all the nine physicists.

It was back in 2009, when Milner suddenly was highlighted in news after he invested a big amount in Facebook. At that part of time, everyone thought him to be a fool. However, who knew, this investment made him a billionaire.

He was the one, who actually emerged with a way as to how one can invest in IT companies, which was initially thought to be unworkable. He was surely successful in setting up an example for others.

Milner is someone, who is more interested in discussing about internet and its connection with humans and how it has interlinked all, instead of conversing about his daily business. Currently, he is working on with his Ph. D. He was a student of theoretical physics.
