As per reports, it has been revealed that a hospital technician from Exeter Hospital has been facing criminal charges. It has been found that David Kwiatkowski has stolen drugs from the hospital and has also contaminated 30 patients with contaminated syringes.

Health officials from New Hampshire said that they have been looking into the matter. They have also asked people, who might be at risk of getting diagnosed with hepatitis C, to get their check up done. Letters have been sent to thousands of patients and they have been told about the incident that took place. The letter also states that the hospital will get their tests done to confirm for the disease.

If to believe the Department of Health and Human Services of New Hampshire then they are going to conduct medical tests of at least 3,300 former patients of the hospital. The department has revealed that patients, who came to the hospital between April 1, 2011 and May 25, 2012, are at maximum risk.

DHHS commissioner Nicholas Toumpas was of the view that they are amazed to see the patience among people. He further asserted that though things have been taking more time than required, people have shown great support.
