It has been noticed by Toronto Animal Services that it’s quite easy to find a new loving home for dogs than for cats. This is the reason that number of cats has outnumbered the total number of dogs.

In order to make sure that cats also find lovable homes, the services officials have decided to take out a scheme in which people would be able to split the cost of cat with other member. The scheme is available till August 15,
2012.

There are as many as 415 cats, which have been waiting for adoption. Nicola Ware, who is an animal care and control officer and has been working with Animal Services, was of the view that there have been many cats, which are quite old, and have been waiting for adoption.

Their old age is the biggest hurdle for getting them getting adopted, but officials of services have been trying to put across a thought in the minds of people that cars are lovable irrespective of their age.

Officials were of the view that the cats being given them are vaccinated, neutered and well checked by vets. Adopters would not witness any kind of problem, assured officials.
