Trial in case of Care Negligence

It has been revealed that trial in the case of 11 care workers Winterbourne View will initiate from 22 October, 2012. Trial is going on as they have ill treated five patients, which was being revealed through a secret shooting of a video by BBC Panorama.

It has been found that care workers have agreed to some counts of mistake and this is the reason that sentencing has been fixed for 22 October, 2012. All have agreed to one common complaints and that was neglecting patients and not providing them the care they needed.

Judge Neil Ford was of the view that depending upon the numbers; the sentencing could last up to five days. However, it can take more days as week, but their rough estimate is of five days.

The newly published report has raised concerns among family members and experts. It is said that fundamental changes are needed to make sure that the incident does not get repeated.

There are many other care workers, who have admitted that they were not taken care of residents. For now, all the 11 care workers, who have been found to be guilty in the crime are at bail, but are not allowed to work.
