There is no doubt on the fact that Marie Curie Cancer Care has been doing all in its capacity to make sure that life of cancer sufferers a lot better. On the same lines, call is being made to schools and groups for taking part in Mini Pots of Care event for Marie Curie Cancer Care. The event is meant for 3-11 year olds, and it involves children getting a pot and daffodil bulb to plant in the autumn. Throughout the winter months, children will take care of their plant and in spring, they will be painting their pots, thereby doing their bit for Marie Curie Cancer Care.

Meanwhile, a charity fundraising challenge near Beauly is being organized by five Marie Curie nurses, who have been part of the charity for the past five decades. It was on September 1 that all of them will be taking part in Walk Ten, a 10k walk at Belladrum near Beauly.
