It has been found that the US men prefer beer while women like to have wine. The revelation has been made by an annual poll, Gallup poll. Drinking is quite common in the US. About 66% of the adults have confirmed of drinking at least once in a week.
During the poll, it has also come to light that incidences of excessive drinking are also coming down gradually. When it comes to wine, about 50% of women like to have it while just 20% of men said that they like to have wine.
Similarly, beer is a common drink among the men of the US as compared to women. The Gallup poll was conducted by contacting 1,014 people through phone call. Only adults were contacted by the poll organizers. Gallup has further noted that their findings could be wrong by 4%. However, the overall result is true.
The result is depicting a change in the beverage preferences of the US adults. It will also help researchers in predicting what would be the next most preferable beverage among the adults. It is good to know that people are consuming less amount of alcohol.
