Researches and studies over the treatment of cancer has been taking place for quite a long time. Every day, we come to hear a new scientific advancement promising early and effective treatment of cancer patients.

Recently, researchers studying cancer treatment have noted that daily exercise can help cancer patients in recovering. They further noted that exercise can also reduce the chances of cancer returning.

Cancer patients often feel reluctant of exercising. There is need to encourage them to exercise on daily basis. The findings have been made by the researchers of Mayo Clinic located in Rochester. The lead author of the recent study, Dr. Andrea Cheville was reported saying, “As doctors, we often tell patients that exercise is important, but to this point, nobody had studied what patients know about exercise, how they feel about it and what tends to get in the way”.

While concluding, the researchers noted that patients with breast and colon cancer have 50% higher chances of recovering if they exercise on regular basis. The findings of the researchers have been published in the Journal Pain and Symptom Management. It is hoped that the findings of the researchers will help in improving the treatment of cancer.
